Recommendation for rear shock absorbers

Morning all, looking for some advice on best replacement rear shock absorbers for my 2.8 facelift z3. Not needed for racing or track days just normal road conditions. Any recommendations?
 
Sachs (OEM) if you can find them or Monroe are a good alternative. Change the top mounts at the same time
 
Sachs are available for the 2.8 at 53€ each and are the best price/value.
 
As said sachs were oe fit rears are still not to bad to get front are now getting rare as remaining stock getting limited.

Thanks Ant - sounds good advice to change over the mounts at the same time. Any recommendations on where to buy - trying to avoid ebay as not sure on pedigree of parts
 
Got mine from guy on ebay came with Meyle top mounts find them post you up the link.

You could give Autodoc a look if you've not ordered yet.
 
Grab the brands like Sachs & Monroe while you still can, both have now stopped making for the Z3 platform so they will eventually disappear.
 
Just bought a set from Steve's recommended seller, only got £10 off but as I reckon mine are still the originals they're overdue a swap.
