Recaro and BBS are kaput. Alpina becomes a “trim”.

Sad news . . . Well, if it ends up protecting the brand so it can continue I suppose it's worthwhile, but it's sad that its come to this for such respected names . . .
 
The Alpina trim level was bound to happen as soon as BM bought them. Sad days, as Alpinas were VERY special cars, albeit very expensive. I had an E92 B3 biturbo for a while. What a car!
