I think you did really well considering the hostile environment Dave =))

Tony.
Now now lads!
So Gentleman, what’s the scope.
It would appear the general response is be careful.
Plan ahead, don’t book your summer vacation just yet.
Ok, has any one had the same experience fitting an OEM rear window?

I think the OEM only comes in the green tint, which I dislike.
Looking for the clear window.
Thank you.
Charlie
I know what you mean, I wasn't keen on the green tint either, so I fitted a clear one purchased from eBay.

Took two attempts and a lot of swearing to fit in the correct position, best done with two people but I did it on my own. Happy with the results and would buy again, but others experience of the same window may tell a different story.

Here is the link for the one I purchased, price has gone up a lot since I did mine.

...however what’s your take on alternatives?...
Having read of more people fighting with the zip than it going easily I would not entertain trying a zip in window. I do have a fair bit of patience but from what I've read on this and other sites puts me off. I had a whole roof replaced on my 3.0 for £330, not sure what that would be in your good old Canadian dollars.

Edit, just looked and it's about $560.

Still relatively inexpensive at the side of genuine though I'll bet Dave.
