Rear window blanket

If all else fails you need some fleece from the Market , elastic and some clips and make you own like I did. £2.50

Will do tomorrow. It fits the same as the grey BMW one and covers the whole window.

My other thought was to get the magnets stitched in so that all you had to do was offer it up and it'd stick even if it was a bit windy

Thanks for that and the magnet idea AT.

Where do the elastic straps hook please.Brian.

The just hook onto the roof frame round section just below where the roof liner finishes. and are 15mm cable clamps cut down. about where the red line is.

I got the wife to sew one from my own design. It is used only when the hood is down of course.
I used a cheap yoga mat cut to size in between a bed mattress protector, sewed in a strap, and then the outside material.

The strap allows me to pull the protector into the car if I have to put up the hood while stuck in traffic and it rains! I put it on the protector so you can see it but it normally goes around the corner behind the driver's seat when the hood is down.

It weighs a bit so when the hood goes down the window always folds properly without kinking.

The long flap at the top helps hold it into position and protects from rubbing.

I hope you like it. :)
