Rear storage lid...

I just acquired a 97 Z3 and I discovered the top of the lid is missing. Any used ones available? I know new ones can run $150-200. Also (since I don't have an owner's manual) I don't know what the up and down buttons just below the rear storage bin are for. Any help? Thanks.

to the Forum from West Cumbria, England. EBay is probably your best bet for a good condition second hand lid. The two up/down buttons release the top lid and the horizontal outward opening storage area between the seats.

Thanks. Do you possibly have a photo of the top lid you described with the "horizontal outward opening storage area"? It seems like I am missing more than just the top piece for the rear storage area (I have the plastic base--hinged to the the storage area.

Thanks. Besides missing the top portion of the storage bin I'm also missing that pop-out "drawer" (or whatever it's called). More searching for parts!
