Know what you are thinking Tony, but in their defence - they will only have a limited number of differing parcel container sizes. Makes sense rather than having 100's for every occasion.
Also if its in a small package the chances of it getting lost are greater.

So really just be thankful it arrived and intact

Arrived today, for reference the hacksaw blades are 300mm long.

Package is better suited to those than it was to a 70mm router bit.
