I can only go on the sound from the video, and going on experiences with DMF since 2,001 onwards it sounds like a knackered old DMF. That noise came from the Bell housing area and I'll bet this does too.

All the flywheels dual mass or not use a pilot bearing. The flywheel doesn't change the fact that you need support at the end of the shaft to keep things aligned.

My M52TU had the bearing in the end of the crankshaft. The new one is shown in the clutch picture and I also check RealOEM and the same bearing is used on the E46 M3
