Radio fitment

I just fitted this Blaupunkt tonight but it looks like it’s too deep in the dash.
should it forward more or is that how they normally fit?

Looks similar to mine. Your ventilation controls look a bit more recessed, so maybe the wood veneer adds a few millimetres.

I’ll fit the dab Ariel tomorrow so it all works properly.
have you changed the panel speakers? I think I should due to age, although it sounds ok now.
