I'm not sure you'll get much encouragement to buy cheap/unbranded.

I believe the OEM is Valeo, certainly on some Z3s. Though Behr is used elsewhere in the cooling system and they also do rads. Nissen seems to be a popular choice and is what went in my brother's 1.9 some years ago.

I suspect you should budget for £175+ rather than £100 to get a decent one.

The original rad on mine (1.9) was a Behr unit. I bought one from BM Motonic for around £88 (Behr as original) a year last Deceember.

You can always look at http://www.mishimoto.co.uk/ if you want something a little better than OEM. Obviously a little pricier, but you get what you pay for I guess!

Ive looked at them. Have read some very mixed reviews about Mishimoto, although they seem very popular.
The Z3 2.8 one is £270 and not a direct fit like the other models which is not great given the price. They do a nice looking aluminiun expansion tank for £100 too. If I had some spare I'd probably do it with a Spal fan just to finish it off...

A Behr expansion tank is £28 and so far the Ava radiator looks good being made in EU by a German company at £112 but need to check the seller @Synclare mentioned too.

@Synclare do you have a website or contact details for BM Motonic, can't seem to find them on the net?

Sorry should have read BM Motormec. They have an on line shop also on eBay too. The one I bought from them was on their eBay shop, had heavy duty meyle ball joints, rad cap etc and all good prices.
