Don't worry still alive,it's been a little crazy around here and I've had to work :( more than usual .Very little z time none really .Had to help my youngest buy herself a car she's a postie and this is her first car she's bought herself I had no choice in the matter but it's a beauty

Actually the sheep are mostly indoors now ,we did an ultrasound scan on them last week and they are 176% pregnant so it could get busy about March time

Simple really ,you can influence to a certain extent how many lambs a ewe can produce as they're fertility can be altered by changing their diet at certain times of the year.They have 2 teats so it would be great if we could get 2 lambs per ewe .1 lamb-one ewe =100% .....2 lambs-1ewe=200% we ended up with 176% which includes some triplets and a number of singles,and 6 infertile ewes who I'm afraid are heading for your local kebab shop.

That's very interesting Hugh, I love spring when the lambs are running and prancing around, they are really funny to watch. I look froward to some piccies when some are born, if you have time please :):)
