Gary has made this from an old door as he has chance of having some more. Its what they call "shabby chice".
He would like any sensible comments about what you think about he could ask for them.

Tony.

That reminds me of when I had to visit, what can only be described as a very scruffy family.
I asked why the kitchen door was nailed to the ceiling, the woman replied 'it's to cover the hole where I bang with the broom handle to get the lazy b@##%r out of bed, it's a lot louder now!

Nice idea but no idea what someone will pay as I only give stuff away lol.

Thanks for that Hugh, he’s a single Dad, he can’t claim anything through being self employed and it is just an idea to make some money.

Tony.

Take a look on Pinterest....it’s a dangerous place to get ideas from and he may be able to make a variety of things relatively cheaply with only his labour costs to add more chance of selling a couple of things

Cheers for those mate I'll send them on to Gary. I have a feeling I may be storing some old doors soon.;)

Tony.

Theres alot of money to be had in this field things can demand high prices be cheeky with it someone will love it.
Or maybe research places that sell goods to see if they have an outlet for it?

:scorecard: It’s a great idea , very quirky :scorecard:

I have always been amazed at what people will pay for this sort of stuff, looking online I would say at least £120 to £250 depending on size and quality. I found some over £500 that were uprights.

That's a very nice thing @t-tony . Always love it when someone gives things a go especially in his current circumstances.

I think Niall is along the right lines with the money. But I suspect those who live in houses with plasterboard walls are going to be less interested than solid walls as they are going to heavy.

I like the coat hanger/shoe storage one but that one is obviously for a bloke never be enough coby holes with a lady in your life or is that ruling:whistle:The long bench seat a nice idea as well. Another idea that would go well is one of those swing ones soppy wives love them. Nobody better tag the wife.

Thank you for your input chaps, it’s appreciated.

Tony.

Would also lend itself to being a headboard. Colour variations would be good to see.

I like recycling/up-cycling.

I have a wee project in at the moment where I’m restoring some old garden furniture. Making it quite unique.

Gary could do bespoke orders and sell the uniqueness of pieces.

That looks nice Hugh. Gary said he has got some pairs of half glazed double doors which gives food for thought.
