...I was once following @Bozzy down a country road near @t-tony, I heard bozzys car slam the tarmac but I was too close to react and we also slammed the tarmac, considering bozzys car wasn't lowered at the time and mine was I got away with it lightly, it has happened half a dozon times when driving at high speed...
Bit of a theme here Sean. I was following @Bozzy at speed on one of his runs and followed him over a hump back bridge. I heard him bottom out and then I did. It was only at the MOT some weeks later did I find I'd broken a front spring. At that time he was on standard suspension and I'm sport.;)

Reading these posts it seems I had fun on tractor spec suspension......still have the standard springs, good as new.

Under normal circumstances I have the reactions of a fighter pilot :D
Been watching too much top gun ? Is it Maverick or goose ?.
Must be Maverick with those snazzy new sun glasses ;).

Edit. Posted this then saw Andy's post .

I've got Eibach 30mm on the rear and Apex 35 or 40mm on the front (as I haven't got them changed yet). As others have said a dip in the road when you're giving it some beans can catch you out and I've also left strips of my undercarriage on speed humps when crawling over them in first gear. My view is you should be as careful as you can but accept you can't avoid them all if you want the more aggressive look

Absolutely right. Mine is OK when I'm on my own but with 2 up "dips" in the road can catch you out. Going in and out of my old place of work was a pain as the yard sloped down to the road which also sloped into the gutter which meant driving through a steep dip and always grazed my front splitter on it. BUT, the difference in driving for 99% of the time is the pay off and in my view well worth it.:)

Thanks everyone for taking the time to give your opinion. After consideration i have decided to leave my zed as it is. That crunch turns my stomach so would rather keep it to a minimum.
Thanks again

Hi guys,

Just would like to ask a quick question. I have original M Sport suspension, which apparently is already lowered by 15mm than standard.
So if I change my springs and suspension to a Bilstein 12 Pro kit, which says on the tin that lowers ride height with 30 mm. That means overall it will be 45 mm lower, OR just will drop an extra 15mm? I am hoping it is the last....

Mine bottomed out a few times on the Lake run on standard suspension. Like the lowered look, but not (for me) practical on a daily use car.:(
