Best name I came across was a black lab called Dyson usual lab mopping up any food in sight.
Ours is very dark ,previous was black prior to that golden.

Mans best friend. We’ve 3 in total 2 border collies and a border cross Maltese. Make of that what you want !!

I wanted to name my black dog after Wing Commander Guy Gibson's dog (of dambuster fame), but wasn't allowed to!:(
 
In the past I have had a golden Lab for 15 years and a golden Retreiver for 12 years
About 1959/60 I used to take my elder brothers black Lab to obedience classes but always came second to a Collie in competitions. Geoff

You wouldn't want to go calling his name whilst walking down the street, now that would get you in real trouble :D

I watched a rerun of The Dambusters the other week on some obscure channel or other. Hadn't seen it for a few years and I was surprised that they hadn't edited the dog's name out.
 
Lovely puppy. Lots of people will be making a fuss of her while you’re out walking.

My grandad had exactly that. Nobody thought anything of it back then in the 60s. Different era and values then.
