Pull up a sand bag thread (or the old soldier brigade!)

When I went awol I came back did the 7 days whilst waiting to see th CO. This happened on the Thursday as we were due to do an exercise on the Monday and I was the COS driver for exercises. Stood in front of him on the Thursday and after he busted me he turned round and said you best not be late Monday Bill and smiled at me
 
Never been in the military but working in the oil & gas was a bit similar.
We were not allowed to drink out in the desert.....:whistle:
Got absolutely a$$ holed one night, 06.00 hrs next morning was late driving my jeep into the pipe yard and my boss was parked up there waiting for me.
I told him I had the flu, so he sent me to see the medic, side stepped the medic and went back to my container and spent all day in my bunk, with half a bottle from the night before (self medication) oh, what a lovely day off that was.....:D
