Hi guys , had the car out today with the weather being nice ,, just a 30 minute run to keep things working freely ,, got home and after around 45mins noticed a small amount of fluid under the car (n/s bulkhead area) ,,, coolant level hasn’t dropped and also the fluid looked like clean water so not really sure what it is (possibly split windscreen washer pipe) ,, will keep my eye on it tho 🤷‍♂️

Yes it does have aircon although it’s not been on today ,, was a little late for me to investigate today so next Saturday it’ll be on the ramps and il find where it’s coming from

I don,t know which model you have but if it is one with the washer bottle at the rear LH of the engine bay, they tend to leak sometimes from the seals where the pumps are fitted. I have had to take mine out and lubricate the seals twice. (In 13 years)

It’s a 2000 X 3.0 and yes the washer bottle is at the rear left hand side of the engine bay , that will be the first part that I investigate at the weekend 👍,, thanks for the heads up

I had a similar problem last September with my Z3 M Coupe with a small puddle just inside driver's side front wheel on the garage floor. I eventually traced it to the washer bottle which is located on the offside front wing in the engine bay. I bought a new gasket/seal and fitted it with a touch of lubricant and no problems since.
Hopefully you be successful with curing the leak if it turns out to be the washer bottle.

Yes that’s what it seems to be ,, should be a straight forward repair ,, thanks for pointing me in the right direction 👍
