Proud dad

Just had an update on Carrie's donation page. £572 is awesome but I''m sure with the help of a few more members she can crack the £1000. Give a little or give a lot to this great cause, every bit counts. All she hoped for was £308 to cover a week of accommodation and she's close to doubling that plus she's cooking with Molly to help provide food for the homeless who really need a good meal at this time of year to ward off the cold. So please give generously and help out the girls and those that are unfortunate to be homeless!! Thanks in advance to a super group of people!! JIM

Thank you to everyone who took there time to read mollys story and also donate. Molly has now doubled her initial target which is incredible.
School are getting involved as is the local paper.
Huge thank you from Molly.

Thank you @MrsD and Sean for raising such courageous children who are willing to, despite the pain Molly is in, think of others who need a hot meal. It says a lot to me about your characters because the girls learned this somewhere! Well done and hopefully Carrie reaches that £1000 I predicted. So come on zedders help these two little angels help others. No donation is too small or too large. If every member gives £10 to the cause just think how proud Molly and Carrie will be to eclipse their initial goal of £308 which pay to accommodate a family for a weeks worth of healing!! JIM

Would just like to say a huge thank you for everyone who has donated to Molly, she is very overwhelmed by the generosity.
Her target was £300, but she has raised a massive £750 plus £84 from her school who participated in silly hair day, molly's cooking day is this Friday and Saturday, we are taking all the meals to the homeless charity on Saturday evening. Once again thank you so much.

I must apologize @MrsD for some reason( let's go with being an old man) I had the impression you were Molly's sister! D'0h!! But I''m so proud of Molly for her stick to it attitude and wish you luck with your cooking this weekend. I''m sure the recipients will be most appreciative and please keep us informed on her progress, she's a wonderful child!! JIM

Just to keep you updated, today was Molly's big day as there are approximately 100 hungry mouths to feed tomorrow and they have been told its Molly's specials this weekend,
She started cooking at 8.45 and didn't finish until 4.30, with the help of mum she has managed to cook,
20 portions of Chilli and rice
20 portions of Sweet and sour chicken
20 portions of Carbanara
20 portions of Chicken Tikka rice and bhajis
10 portions of chicken sish kebab
10 portion of Leek and potato soup,
And Mollys favourite, Tomato and onion sausage rolls so they all have something to take away to eat for supper,

Carrie got a call yesterday as the local rag have heard about Molly's charity and the photographer came today with the journalist, its going to be front page, she did amazing and we are so proud of her yet again.

Tomorrow we are taking the food to a church where it will be reheated and served to the homeless, we didn't think it would be a good environment for Molly to be around but she is determined to see her food eaten.
Thanks again for all your support guys
Here's my little star

She is a great girl Sean, I have been following Carrie on Facebook. :)

She's a great kid Sean, I'm sure you're both very proud, as you should be. In my opinion kids are usually a mirror of their parents so take some of the credit yourselves too.:)

Tony.

I''m not surprised that she wants to be there to meet the people she cares so much for! This experience could lead her into doing charitable work for life and certainly will never be forgotten. It says a lot also for the upbringing she's getting, so well done Sean and Carrie you must be sooo proud of Molly. I am, JIM

Thanks for the kind words mate, when the reporter asked why she wanted to help the homeless she started to tell him about our day in Cleethorpes when we got some food for a poor old guy in a doorway, she was inconsolable and just could not stop crying all the way through the interview.

Bless her mate, wish more kids were brought up to be like Molly, the world would soon be a better place.:)

Brilliant @Sean d and @MrsD i'm not sure whether to be more proud of you both or Molly. Probably equally you all.
We need to see the article in the newspaper so please copy and post for us.
I'm sitting here thinking how scrumptious the food sounds, i think you may have a budding chef on your hands.

Some lucky people at the homeless shelter this weekend :)

What a precious little heart of gold that girl has!! JIM
Thanks Jim, she has got a big heart and always wants to do the right thing, she is always at the back of the queue though mate and sometimes misses out as she will not push in, however she is very popular at school and the teachers never have a bad word to say about her, she tries not to let her condition get in the way and gives 100% all the time.
