ps. Looking at the first picture is it not possible to trim the top cup (seat) rather than changing the strut?

Cheers Tony. I love the trial n error part of the modding. It was a strange sensation I was feeling in the steering near full lock. Just glad I narrowed it down. When I get back from the Ring I’ll look at an E36 spring cup and see if they’re a different shape.
