Just catching up on what ive missed :) from a few comments about the throttle, i have to say that the ///M felt so light and very very responive to the peddle than my 2.2i i have now. It was so light and quick to respond that i actually put myself back in my seat a couple of times! Haha!! But...... AMAZING to drive!! :p

Difference in throttles @Shortie_gal. The later Zeds including yours have a fly by wire throttle, where your ///M had a conventional throttle cable. The fly by wire is a little annoying to get used to...

That engine bay needs a bit of detailing, Stacy. You'd better get going on that, Spring is almost here you know

Mike
Totally agree the engine bay is a mess!! Will be doing this when Martin has finished the Vanos

Have to agree but I believe the fly by wire can be adjusted via the software - the difference between the e46 330i I bought and and many I test drove was noticeable, especially prefacelift to post face lift. CDV delete will probably help too?

Bet the Dakar is going to have a whole lot more go with fresh VANOS seals. Is that a good thing?
Time to get the race logic swapped out from you coupe Martin? Soft limit set at 5k rpm me thinks just so we can keep up you know!

My s***'s custom!
Excellent.....when you've got the important stuff done (moving parts that I don't understand) it's time for the preening products! Much more my cup of tea!

It works something like this Dino...

Zorging - the act of stalking people and fly-carding windscreens. Example : I'm off out Zorging for new members this afternoon.
Zorged - a chant cried out when walking away having successfully placing a card. Can be accompanied with a fist pump depending on the rarity of the Zed in question. Example: You've just been Zorged mate.
Zorgus-Interruptus (latin) - being caught in the act of Zorging by an unappreciative owner, or they pull away just before you get chance to.
"Zorgasm" - the feeling of elation experience by a zedder. The Zorgasm can be instigated by many different catalysts, including but not limited to:
1 Driving the zed on a dry open country road (with the roof down if the owner purchased the correct model!)
2 Gazing upon your freshly detailed zed following hours of finger-blistering toil.
3 Hearing a non-zed associated person (aka muggle) compliment your zed as you alight/disembark from said vehicle or drive past them.
4 Seeing an owner of a zed you have "Zorged" (see above) has signed up to the zroadster forum and introduced themselves.
5 Watching other vehicles (particularly the Porsche Boxter or Audi TT) shrinking in the rear view mirror of your zed.
6 Owning a zed.
