There will be a few pics of course, but should sit the same as Lees coupe as we both have the same suspension before and after.

Can you post the link of the supplier Gaz, be interested in the price of a set for mine.
No specific link or seller, just search on ebay and you will find several German sellers. Not sure what prices the ///M ones would be though.

I get that Gaz but the shape of the Coupe body alters the way you see the car I think. Look forward to seeing the pics mate.

Clutch delay valve removal!

All I can say is if you've considered this, then stop considering and get it done. Totally changes the feel of the clutch. No longer feels like it's slipping, and I don't get any judder in first any more. It's a 20 minute job, and can be done with the car jacked on it's side (jack and axle stand that is).

First time for Sasha to enter #ZedShed (tm). Tilt...

This is the offending chap, or rather chaps as we removed the one from Lees Coupe at the same time.

This close up shows how much the pipe is restricted.

Shown in place with the hose clamped before removal. Once removed the clutch line screws straight back on again.

Good job boys, it's amazing the difference this small mod makes.

Why put it on in the first place if it causes restrictions? Does it cause problems elsewhere with removing it?

So have you managed to get your springs fitted today Gaz, we will need pictures to see how sasha looks with them on.

Totally agree, and best part it costs you nothing to remove it! Free mods are the best!

It's to make gear changes smoother, but in fact seems to add a little bit of slip to the clutch as the plates don't mate as quick as without it. If you are incompetent at changing gears it's actually helpful :wacky:. If you have the ability to change gear without kangerooing or slipping the clutch it's essentially in the way!

Hopefully in the next week or, didn't have enough time today!

If you are going to blow £100 on a gear knob, make sure it's a Storm Motorwerks V1... :D

This time in Titanium finish with the correct number of gears engraved . The pictures make it look much lighter than it is, but it blends in much nicer. Once the alloy centre console is covered it will look even better...

Its on my list ,like the Storm Gear knob over any other they never come up second hand or if they do i never catch them.
Not a bad price when you look at some of the stock bmw items and their prices.
Looks great

Looks really nice Gaz.
