Working 4 days a week and having 16 days holidays I'm sure I'll find the timeWill you be getting a company car with your new role @GazHyde? Leaving time for rosie to be off the road during her works?
You can't buy true power, it has to be earned...My opinion is get a larger engine zed or stick a supercharger on Rosie.
Just mho
You can buy floor mount adapaters for the z3Not sure on the weight of the seats, but having stripped down a set before I know the majority of the weight is in the seat base and electrics. I'm happy to lose all the electrics but would prefer to still have heated seats (I drive all year round roof down!).
I've never found any of the Z3 seats particularly comfortable. The standard ones lack sideways support, the ///M seat base bolsters are too intrusive and the Sport seats just aren't quite there despite being the best of the lot. Those S2000 seats look way more comfy!
Guess I'll need to find some scrap seats and start looking at how a base could be fabricated. I'd be looking to:
Doesn't really fit in to the power enhancements this thread is about, but if I improve the power to weight that's kind of the same thing!
- Lower the seat level
- Set a better recline on the seat base
- Remove all the bulky electric motors and adjuster. Happy with a conventional handle to adjust forwards/backwards position and lose height adjustment.
Lots of the seats come in 'powerfully built' widths as well so dont be too put off. Those look just the job, if a tad expensive. You get what you pay for of course! Not come across that website before, got some interesting items on it.

Been browsing wistfully at Sparco and the likes for aftermarket seats, but will take a look at the Elise ones. Not looking for something too "buckety", as I'm personally built for comfort rather than speed!
