it seems my duel mass flywheel is on it way out on my santa fe 4*4. what im struggling with is the price difference on the flywheels [whats a good make and good price] dont want to spend a fortune as going to get clutch done at same time , looks like a thousand £ plus.
can a solid flywheel be fitted and would it cause problems
 
Not sure if a solid flywheel conversion is available for the Santa Fe Pete.
What year and engine is it mate?

2.2 deisel, 2010. would it cause problems on the crank or gearbox ?
 
Not as far as I'm aware mate. From soon after the "new" Transit came out in 2001 they made a solid conversion for them. Where I work they were fitted with no issues.

We use a lot of LUK stuff at work Pete and mate LUK clutches to LUK flywheels. Does the clutch kit include the concentric slave cylinder too?

It's a Luk dual mass and clutch I fitted to the Skoda after original failed drastically at 226k new one done 64k with no issue
