Have not seen it recently but there was a Peugeot van with D1NLO. I don't know if the meaning is national or just local to Portsmouth

I think a private plate is a nice touch. Right now I've got R60MNS on my zed (<obviously!!) and R80MNS on my daily.
I also took the opportunity to buy up R90MNS and R70MNS for my kids. Both plates are currently "parked" on my parents' cars as my kids were 7 and 4 at the time I...although having popped a third out since then I might have to lose one of my 2 plates to keep it fair unless one similar pops up for sale in the next 17 years!

If that's the case its not the number plate your finding intimidating.
