£1500 for a 2.8 with an MOT and 100kish sounds about right.
Z4 much more desirable and will keep z3 prices down. Don't forget that most people think the z3 is an ugly car, not the thing to say on a z3 forum but sorry, ugly they are.
2.2's worth less and 1.8's hard to give away.

Cannot agree with a z3 being classed as ugly the body lines are pretty timeless and stand up well against alot of modern boxey looking cars.
They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder but not sure anyone here would agree with that statement but each to their own.
Only other car of the era to hold lines well in my view was the Mk 1 TT again became more squared off as the Mk2 came in and it lost alittle character .
The z3 looks very well and how this is ugly is beyond me.....
