Pressure washers

OK. Happy Christmas to me! My pressure washer has arrived.
Now please don't think me thick but my brain won't play ball!
I'm trying to attach the outlet hose on the water outlet connector on the back and stow the hose on the reel provided so I can pull the hose out forward to attach the lance and unreel the hose. Is this making sense lol? Anyone remember krypton factor!
I feel a right plonker but I just can't get my head around it. :wacky:

Leave him folks, this could keep us amused for days =))=))=))=));)

Tony.

Have a bash @Grumpy and post the pics I've had a very bad day and need cheering up :D

your not thick, the Nilfisk designers are. The hose reel is not a through-feed version. its just somewhere where you can disconnect the hose when your done, and then wind it separately onto the reel for storage.
Spoilsport =))

That's where the Karcher ones win. The hose connects permanently at the reel. Just unwind it and it's ready to go. Having said that having three arms with one of them ten feet long would help.

Though the nights entertainment was set there for a minute =))=)) Sorry mate just feeling mischievous :D:D

Did @Grumpy read the instructions or just bin them first off with the packaging, probably.

This could have been fun.

Instructions are only for reading when you've finished to make sure you've done it right!

Thought the instruction books were for the girls?? :pompus::pompus: ...Oops:D

It doesn't work. :( Got to send it back as the threads on the unit that the outlet hose connect to are nagged. Just my luck. :(

Get a quick connector for the outlet so you can pull the hose on and off when you want to store it on the reel. Its what I have, a 10M hose with a quick connector on the end which plugs into the connector on the pressure washer.

I assume the quick connector will still have to be screwed onto the unit first tho? Sounds a good idea, make it much easier each time I use it.

Yes, the quick connector screws onto the thread on the units outlet and there is a connector on the hose side. You can use something like this with your original hose

Or get an extended hose, a 10M one is brilliant with the connector already built into the hose.

Make sure you check the thread size first though, I don't think Karcher and Nilfisk are the same although some sellers say they are. There is a company called qhoses on eBay from what I remember who are great and will make you up an extended hose with a quick connector.
