Premier league back! Right or Wrong?

Think behind closed doors is the way forward, at least the media will have to pay and the clubs cough up the tax.
Every pound will help keep the economy going.
We’re all still paying our licence fee, tv package deals, internet, so why not at least let us watch on tv, better than nothing at the moment. Same goes for motor sport. We’ve all been paying same amount for 3mths just to watch repeats of everything. YEP gets my vote even though I don’t follow any team as such.

I love the football and have really missed it. I like rugby too, both codes but I'm not a fan of motorsport. Well, it's not really a sport is it? Now if they had to push the cars it would make it more watchable for me

Do you know that you could have a refund for sports channels if you asked for one?

Thank you Pingu, didn’t know but don’t pay for any sports on tele. Before we retired we had all channels from virgin at £125+ a month but something had to go to help with Z petrol bill. No brainier. Lol
If it’s free I’ll watch it so long as I’ve not heard the results.
Nice to know the tv comps can’t get away with it.:scorecard:

Not my first choice of beer but I like to change it up a bit.
Usually play it safe with Bud or Coors

I like to be prepared incase anything kicks off so I'm on the Stella =))

I am not overly bothered about the football but I certainly understand it is huge in many families. I did watch a little of one of the matches on sky sports; canned fans cheering and chanting to the wrong game..!.. really is that the best they can do. I would rather listen to an empty stadium and the ref that that. I wonder why it is that they we need to be entertain by anything else but the game.

At first I would think that they are treating us like idiots, but on second thought I realize it just reflects the mentality of someone who thinks he knows what we like and is only representing what he likes...............Frankie

There is usually another option to have the game without the awful crowd noise which I and all my friends much prefer.
I'm actually enjoying hearing the players and managers shouting at each other

IThanks for the info I will check out the options for the sound; I too would much prefer to hear the sound from the pitch.

Something similar to when I watch a game at home with some friends or relatives.....................Frankie

I think it's on a different channel. So if sky sports main event has crowd noise, sky sports premier has no crowd noise.

I came across this older discussion and wanted to add a fresh angle: now that we’ve had some distance, how do folks feel the restart actually played out? Did it bring back some normality, or did it feel too forced at the time?

Curious whether those who were on the fence ended up leaning one way after seeing how things unfolded.

I’ve been also using https://rubiscore.com/ whenever I want quick updates during busy match days, especially for checking xG and player ratings without bouncing between apps. It also lets me follow specific teams so I don’t miss kickoff times or lineup drops. If you want something simple that still gives solid stats in real time, it’s been a handy option for me.
