Tempted to take my boy on his first camping trip @Mac Romans , might not make it to Vanity though, I'm not sure he'd last 5 minutes.

Just how child friendly is the site?

Thanks

Hi Spurs fan, I thought the campsite was very child-friendly. I took my daughter, aged 7, and she loved it - lots of space, a huge site and plenty of children running around in the late summer evening. It's very child and family-friendly. [As a Chelsea season ticket holder, I might be less friendly if you beat us on Thursday evening! Lol]. It's a great event overall and even at Vanity, your son would enjoy the Bealieu motor museum and its monorail. A great weekend away for adults and kids.

Awesome Jez, that's what I was hoping to hear, my eldest will be 5 and I'd love to take him camping for a night.

The best description of the site I can give is that it’s an open area of the new forest with toilet blocks dotted around. It’s clean and safe but gives kids an element of adventure as there’s no designated pitches. You find an area you like and put the tent up. We love it.
