We are getting way off topic here, but prices on my side compared to UK from what I see in ebay are 60 to 70% lower. In fact if someone had the means to transport and skip taxes he could make a fortune selling parts there. Actually there is one person I know that comes twice a year and does that. He is the one who brought me my hardtop which I bought from a member of this forum. I had to give him five ecu´s and two pairs of headlights (that I bought locally) in exchange for his transportation “fees”.
once he even brought a vehicle, fixed it here, painted it and took it back to sell it with a profit from what he said… but anyway, no more off topic. Sorry to hijack this thread.
AGAIN !!!!! Had to nip up to Lidl this morning, parked well away from anyone else, when I got back a note on the car told me a car had backed into my zed then drove off.
Fortunately the good samaritan followed said villains and made them come back and take a look. They then just drove off again, but with the car reg plus photos I have reported it to the police who will be visiting the driver. Damage to the front bumper, just scratches really, but it will no doubt mean a full respray of the bumper.
