Just spent the evening removing the original front lower wishbone bushes and replaced them with Powerflex ones. Everything went smoothly till I came to bolt the bush carriers back in place. They seem to be sitting too far back now (only 4 or 5mm). The bushes are fully back on the wishbones & I could get the carrier in place if I used a bit of force, just want to check if I'm missing something first. Anybody done this recently? I've read that the bushes needed to have a recess cut out to overcome this, but also read more recently that the bushes have since been modified to overcome this. The bushes are Powerflex PFF5-301 (concentric) & the zed is a 2001 3.0.

You sometimes have this when fitting after market OE stile bushes Mike. I would use what ever you need to locate the mountings on the chassis dowels and make sure you have the alignment checked straight afterwards.

I had the same issue with mine, drivers side went on OK but passenger side required some brute force against the control arm to push it forward enough to get the bolts in. It could be fighting against the ARB so may be worth disconnecting the drop links.

Unfortunately gone
I had the same problem with the passenger side....I had to use a swaging tool to lever it into place.
