They look the dogs. Where did you get them done for £30, I was quoted £65 each.:(
City powder coaters in Digbeth Birmingham. Takes them around a week and they have lots of different colours you can choose from. Can't go wrong for the price.

I'm glad this topic was raised. My car goes in this weekend for its transformation and I've been looking at these two options for redoing the wheels. ;)

Don't mess about, just get the Rondells for sale over on .net!!
Then then sell them to me when I can afford them!

Not my thing mate, I'm more the split rim type. Plus all this work on my zed has just cost me 2k so I'm a little short on funds

sorry to be dim but at that price they also sort out the big gouges that have been put in the rims too?
Prices vary, mine were in a poor state (kerbed) and needed liquid metal addition, an eye watering £440 all in! End result looks good though

If you want the company I used to collect them and deliver back (they do from a business address (not sure if it has to be car related) then let me know, they collected mine, dropped back with the fresh rubber on, great service.

Not sure Tony but i wouldn't think it a problem, just a matter of masking off i would believe!
As I know, if the rims aren't split rims, it's not possible to put two powders on the same rim. When masking, at 200 deg C, everything is "melding" and sticking together!

Hi Dan, I have a special masking tape that is specifically made for powder coating to take the temps involved. Pretty sure I found it on eBay several years ago and although I've never tried it on PC I have used it on joint on my chimney on my pellet stove that has been up to 200c and although it changes colour slightly, from the smoke I imagine comes off very easily. ^ I know... to buy just one rear one, 18inch, flat lip, mount a tyre and put it my office just to look at would be great!

Looks good, I've got no chance of having something like that:thumbsup:
Read a good story a few years ago of a bloke that knocked a large window in his garage wall so he could see his Cosworth whilst watching his TV. Single, obviously.

Mine were not really kerbed in the first place as I sorted out any damage myself when I first refurbished them. I believe they do repair some damage but as to how much I am unsure.
