It takes years of training and dedication but there's a lot to be said for enthusiasm ,and these two were very enthusiastic to say the least!Cloth cap on backwards and the classic grapple stance. Both of them look a bit stiff to me

And if you haven't got your wellies handy, always tuck your trousers in your socks.

You made it look so easy when you showed us though…

Looks very interesting what you are doing :)
Looks fun too :p

I think the stiffness comes with age Hugh Different stiffness's for different ages:p

A huge thanks to Hugh and Sarah for sharing their part of Wales with us for the day. Thanks also to @Mint for coming over and joining the impromptu cruise of mid-wales.
We drove on some great roads with marvellous views. Training in chasing sheep was enlightening although Hugh never explained what we should do if we caught one..........he just smiled and his eyes glazed.
Apparently we missed out on "The Best Road in the World" so that will have to wait until the next time.
Will upload some pictures when weget home next week.

It's when he gets the wellies and the Velcro gloves out that you need to start worrying!!

Steady on there, how can you tell they look a bit stiff? They have their backs to you.

Did you read my earlier post where I said that Welsh shepherds wear button down jeans because the sheep can hear a zipper a mile away? Frankie
You seem to know a lot about this. ;)

Do you know why shepherds don't wear paper trousers? They don't want to be accused of rustling
