I was typing up a response to the Manning Insurance thread and it wouldn't let me post.. now I see that the thread has gone and I hope that the moderators haven't deleted it.. anyway this was my response which I hope isn't removed too:
Stacey I re-read the OP's post and I cant see anything wrong with it.. he's paid for something and isn't happy about it and as we are a community I think he's right to bring it to other's attention because it may be an issue for other members too. You are a well liked member of this community and by publicising Manning, the company you work for not own, on this forum (with the best intentions i.e. getting a good deal for Z owners) you have always run the risk of complaints being posted which you shouldn't take personally. For this member the refund time is an issue, for others it won't be. The thing with insurance companies is we buy on price (and perhaps reputation or experience of others) but we never really know how good a company is until we have a claim or other subsequent dealings. I'm sure other insurance companies have processes and procedures that the customer is unaware of (or do not appear in the small print) but don't take it personally as the guy is only politely bringing something to the attention of others..
