OK so I have at last persuaded Jue to come out of her old Freelander. Hooray I here you shout! Well yes it's time it went, being used daily I was starting to worry about her getting stuck at the side if the road etc. The deal was tho I give her my Sorento! Well to be honest I wasn't loving it anyway so by by! I'll sort something else for myself at some point, (trick up the old sleeve and all that :D) I'll use the freelander until it sells and jump in Reggie once he's mended for a bit. The old lad hasn't scrubbed up bad considering he's been abused by a woman with dogs and horses for the last 3 years! :eek:

You made a nice job of it Dave,looks quite good tbh especially considering it's age :thumbsup:.
Like Ant said have you done the inside yet ?.......it'll only be a five minute job :whistle:=)).

Took ages mate but it looks OK inside. To be fair the bodywork is extremely good the inside not so. It's worn badly in places but at the age it's at its more than acceptable.

I'm going to trade a few I think to get a Z4 if I can pull it off. We'd love to drive more in Europe and as much as I love Reggie I wouldn't trust him to go that far to often. I won't be selling him tho. :). It may not happen, if I get fed up with t**** coming to the house I'll probably quit and settle for something like a 911 or a mondeo!

She's been out in the Sorento twice today and has said how nice it is after the freelander. She's always liked 4x4. I wanted a toureag auto but budget wasn't big enough. If I'd have got one I wouldn't be changing. I not struck on manual 4x4 stuff but it was the right choice at the time. The Sorento was a cheap car so giving it to Jue to run for the next 26 years makes good business sense!

Ooh yeah all sorted mate. Put a slave on and it didn't cure it, put a master on and bingo! £90 and it drives like a different car.
 
Well that didn't take long! Old Frank has left the building. Sold after someone spotted it on Facebook. On the hunt for a replacement. Jue has had the Sorento now so need to sort something for me now. Got my eye on something but will play a game if all goes well! Watch this space! ;)
