Please pass the salt.................

It's meant to be like that over here soon :p

We ran into (figuratively) a salt sprayer last week while driving with the wife with the Giulia and she was all like :"Oh no, now we need to wash the car immediately, etc."

Told her I couldn't be bothered since the lease is 4 years...it would be a totally different story if we were driving on the Zed...

...which, by the way, I haven't been seeing in three months and I have no idea where it is and in what state...:nailbiting:

Long story short, It went at the beginning of October for some maintenance + new ragtop to my trusted garage...promised to be ready at the end of November.
Meanwhile I noticed the car sat outside in the rain without being touched for more than a month, while I have a winter recovery paid for, so I didn't like it and asked the guy to at least put it inside if he was not planning to work at it .
Last time I saw him I couldn't see the car because he said he put it in his personal garage (at home) and he's working at it in the weekends

I didn't expect any special treatment, I am willing to pay full price for it, I don't know what's in this guy's mind, if he want to keep the prices low or what...thing is I was counting to stop the insurance but I can't and communication with the guy is very difficult.

Unfortunately he's the only one I trust (and I know) as I am not from around here so I have to take what I can get...and it sucks.

Is this all going on in Italy (your flag on here) or in Flanders?

Flanders. If we were in Italy I would have addressed the issue much easier by now, but over here between the different habits, scarce networking and language everything is more difficult.

It seems to me that the majority of businesses over here are the official dealer where locals don't mind to pay top money just for their peace of mind... This one is, unlike the others, a genuinely good guy (he's the brother of a friend) who has a lot on his plate unfortunately, so to reach out or get him to speak out clearly is a bit of an issue.

Sorry for the tremendous OT...

I can see you're having a good time over there. Frankie
After I was shoveling few days, my wife asked me if I can build a snowman? I replied: yes, I can. What do you prefer: Godzilla or King Kong in 1:1 scale?

Yes, it's almost time for our countries annual grind to a halt at the first sign of a snowflake season.

Yep, you got that right........!!

The British Army is on standby to help stricken residents across the UK tonight, as they are warned their homes are likely to be flooded as adverse weather conditions lead to dangerous high tides and heavy rain and snow fall. Flights have been cancelled, towns evacuated and there is chaos on the roads as the Big Chill swept across Britain today.

Now it's snowing in LONDON!

Over here we are six meters below sea level and its raining, and some wet snow, no flooding, no panic, no problems.....
