Yes we went right into to Lapland and the Arctic circle, it was a 5000 mile journey there and back in 10 days.
We encountered a few electrical problems but nothing serious.
We also raised £8500 for Cancer Research for actual completing the journey

Hello and welcome from Truro. Best of luck with the search and project build. There's loads of knowledge and inspiration on this forum to help you. I love your Triumph 2000. I've got a 1987 Merc 230ce that I love.

Hi @Brav welcome from me near Lincoln, loved those old Triumphs they're what started my liking for a straight six, we had on old Standard Vanguard for thrashing across fields as kids. There's an up side to every kit build and that is (usually) some good condition s/h body panels going up for sale so the definitely don't go to waste. Hope you find the right car and look forward to seeing your progress. Good luck.

Tony.

Hi, @Brav and welcome to the forum from Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. You brought back some memories for me as I was in Lapland back in '96. I went to the North Cape on a cruise ship I worked on and the day we were at the North Cape, there was so much fog you couldn't see the water from the land. At least I could say I was there..........................Frankie

Hi Brav, I will be really interested to see how the build goes. Outside of mine is nearly finished....inside next....
Hi Sir Percival.

I have been watching your build progress over at DNAOC and it's a stunning looking car.

Good luck with the interior as i hope to pick up a few pointers.

Hi Brav,
Welcome to Zorg. It's a great forum in my view. Looks like you and I are after the same type of Zed. I'm looking at building a Kobra once funds, and the completion of a new kitchen, allow.
You on Madabout too ?
Dave

Hi Dave.

Yes i'm on Madabout but have not made a contribution as yet, there's some good reading on that forum as is on here.

I will start a build thread on here and Madabout once i've located a car.

Good luck with Kobra and hope you get your Zed soon.

Brav
