Yep I'd agree with that, re-sealed my plugs when the car developed a small drip and perfect since
The plug leaks and the water runs along to top door seal and drips onto the seat (or your knee if your driving)

Could be your problem, worth doing anyway.
I've had exactly the same and was due to the A pillar plug - looks like window left open but the water just runs along the seal for a bit then makes a big splash on the seat!

Get one of these, my baby lives in a garage but when out for the night at friends or family this does the job
This was last night at my sisters house

Now that's an idea, down here I'd have put in on every time I left it outside:cool:
Best thing is to keep moving;)

I have a complete 3-layer car cover. I must look it out. I quite like the look of the small cover that just goes over the roof. Might get one of those. Unfortunately the Zed has to live outdoors on the drive most of the time, like my V8 MGB. He's (definitely a he) been outdoors for 8 years now but is holding up well. I will certainly be sealing those A-post plugs.

I have a bottle of nextzett - Gummi Pflege Stift (Recommended on this site)

Must get the Roof/Windscreen seal sorted ASAP. Have had the same issue, does seem to be wind related.
However, since the the new roof fitting, the hood handles are 2 x harder to secure (These are adjustable)
Still will apply a couple of layers.

I've had this before it could well be wind related but as you only once.I find once the seal is wet is door opened when raining on closing it can weep. If dry it remains dry hope you get a fix and no more issues.

You will find that with any new roof as the material is a lot tighter for a while making them harder to lock. You will find this as well if you leave it down for a few days, sometimes you need a hand from someone else to push the front part down whilst the latches are secured. It will strecth over time making them easier to lock.

I totally agree! Had my new top put on late fall last year and this spring there was no way I could get the front within three inches tto latch it. Been ill for a month so tried the other day with help and managed to get it to latch finally. Will leave it up for a few days but breaking my heart as it's finally high 20's-low 30's in sunshine for the next week!! Boo hoo!! JIM
