Still in progress ........ Leaving La Rochelle for Bordeaux today .......... then San Sebastian on Monday for 5 nights. Will then assess weather forecasts but an option is to venture further into Spain and take ferry back from Santander.
St Malo and Dinan were cold. La Rochelle has been mixed. Rained a bit yesterday morning

Yep- it's lovely here now but we leave for San Sebastiian on Monday. There's a wine Expo on in Bordeaux this weekend. Damn does that mean I have to sample some
. Just had lunch and started talking to an Italian group on next table. Gave me his business card only Alessio Planeta of Planeta Wines, Sicily who are here for Expo - come and see us tomorrow. To hell with what the weather is like and how much 98 octane costs!!

You going in the Zed Dave, must be. Can not have a Zed and not take it going to Europe, will be like leaving the kids behind 
We had the Zed the booked on the ferry but because of the op we've reluctantly swapped it for the Saab for comfort reasons. Although it will take some of the fun out of the trip we will still be in France having a lovely time and I think for this year it's for the best.You going in the Zed Dave, must be. Going in the Saab??? You've got 4 weeks, get cruise control fitted, then it;s 'Top Down' all the way. We had Cruise control fitted to the Z4, Dave, Mike finds it invaluable on the long roads in France. (Mind you, we've had 3 Saabs, so we know what you mean about comfort)
If you want to borrow a boot rack, we have got a clip on one for a Z3, Guaranteed not to harm your paintwork!!!
