Shame you couldn't make it Jim, damn those pesky sick notes. By the way mate, I have used green stuff pads before and found they were no better than normal road pads. Reds are much better.
There have been a few people asking about the next track day, they are organised by the BMWCCGB and cost between 100-300 quid. The dearest is the full F1 cicuit at Silverstone later this year. All you need is a helmet (£35 amazon), a fully functional car and plenty of bottle. I would recommend you check the condition of your engine oil and spend a bit of money uprating your brakes (ark at me, one track day and suddenly I'm an expert!).
The next event is at Cadwell Park, mid May time. Once I have more details I'll start a new thread. One word of warning, I have done one track day and now I can't wait for the next. It is highly addictive![]()

I'll be doing plenty more track days, I'll be sure to keep you in the loop in future. Not all the cars were BMW's so you will have no bother getting your porker in if it is a BMWCC event.
