Just another month Reggie old lad!
Finally got the garage door cleared so spent yesterday sorting it out and gave the zed a wash while I was up there. :)

The fact that you BACKED her (him) into the garage indicates to me that you can pull out with the pedal to the metal, full ahead.

Always reverse in, you know how much time you have when you return but you never know how much of a hurry when you leave.
In a previous life when i had a job, we were always told when doing visits that our vehicle should always be pointing in the best direction for a quick getaway in case things turned nasty.
 
Best to do any turning round with a warm engine/gearbox, saves wear and tear on the mechanical bits. And I used to live in a world where people might feel like shooting at me and my chums,:wideyed: best be prepared for a quick getaway.
