Rishi Sunak 'considers plan to charge motorists per mile they drive'

The Chancellor is reportedly 'very interested' in the idea of a national road pricing scheme - which would steer British motorists into a new 'pay-as-you-drive' type system, according to the Times.

I'll bet they still have the pay-to-own tax as well as pay-to-drive tax.

Bound to happen sooner or later as revenue drops from traditional fuel. Its either that or electricity increases considerably.

I wouldn't think though the revenue from petrol and diesel still sold to fuel 'classics ' will be removed either when it comes in to force.
So some may end up paying twice - this will probably force ICE cars from the roads

So joyless motoring and paying for the privilege, as I can guarantee you wont pay less !
