hi all, pleased to be part of the org. Have just taken ownership of my mother-in-laws pre-facelift Z3. She bought the car from new 21 years ago just after my wife and l got married and l’ve had her promise it to me ever since!! Well finally she decided it needed a bit more regular use and l have spent the summer tidying the car up. Replaced the original 5 star 16” alloys with the BMW multispoke 17”s - nothing at all wrong with the originals just prefer the look with the 17”s (if anyone is in need of a full set of pretty good 16’s with MOT passing tyres I’m sure a sensible deal can be done). New leather seats in (father-in-law sees cars as something merely to drive and the original seats proved it ), update music system and finally l can play my 80’s CDs again! Will dry store over winter but then get her (did l just gender the car??!) out for next Spring - can’t wait. Cheers Dicky D
