Booked my 2.8 z3 in to halfords autocentre in Dunstable for today and it passed. A couple of advisories about slight cracking on tyres. I am planning on getting the tyres changed for Avons soon anyway. The previous owner did very few miles so the tyres must be years old. ATS have them on special offer at the moment if I replace all four, £50 off.

For checking tyre prices, my first port of call for many years now has been:

Ordering tyres just got easier with more fitting options. Fitted where you are or delivered to your door.

You can search on reg, they only list available tyres, and they will come and fit them at your home/work/wherever. They group by Premium / Budget for all tyre brands, and give you the loudness and rain ratings that most do these days.

I kind of use them like I use Amazon for just about anything else. Check here for baseline price, then when I look elsewhere and find something cheaper, I know I've got a good price.
