Thanks Tony. That's the one I saw for £180, normal RRP about double that.
A very good bit of kit mate if funds stretch, but like most things that you only use occasionally where to store it?

Tony.

Hi @mrscalex the prob with the front struts is that they are sprung loaded down.
If you can get or make a clamp to go round the rod and pull it against the internal spring and then clamp it you won't have to compress the road spring so much so your spring compressors should work. Once the top mount is on you can remove the clamp. I made some form some nylon block with bolts through and it works.

That looks interesting @Brian4. I don't think I'd have much chance of making such a thing myself but out of interest could you show it in action as I'm not really getting it in my head.

Okay, get it now! Although the strut is currently dissembled so I think I'd need 5790 strut expander. That's if the piston has retracted at all, I'm not sure it has. It doesn't seem to want to pull out any more.

@Lee sorted out the struts for me last Sunday. A belated public thank you to him. Even if I'd have invested £130 in my own compressor I wouldn't have re-assembled them as skillfully as he did.
