The M.O.T. Testing service has had a mega problem all day after some upgrade work in the system last night. If a car passed with no advisory items, no problem, want to add advisory item or failure item, no chance. My whole day has been a major pain in the ass.:(:(

Afraid so Tony mine been the same made worse by the fact that i am working between 2 centers this week was in Dumfries today back in Cardonald (Glasgow) tomorrow .
Still got 2 contingency passes out there that need changed but not back there till next Tuesday:mad::confused::mad:
Spoke to one our A E delegates this afternoon he told me DVSA are going to shut down the system this evening and reboot to a previous version so should be ok tomorrow. :)
 
God I hope so Steve. That's the problem, spending some of tomorrow putting right what went wrong out of our control today.

Sounds like you and Stevo have had a pig of a day :meh:.
Had Sara's Zafira m.o.t'd yesterday,it passed with an advisory on rear springs. The chap said its siting on the second coil on each spring. So I'll have to get it sorted soon.

If it's on original springs it will do Steve, not an issue at all. The "pig tails" on those don't really do much, maybe he would like to fit you a pair, I know my boss would. He was called Dick F*****G Turpin in a previous life. :)

Oh that's good to know mate thank you.
You could be right as the same guy tested it last year and advised the front disks and pads would soon need changing but they looked ok to me so they're still on. Thought he'd flag it up again this year,but no,not a mention at all.
 
In all fairness though I must say it's only the 2nd major problem we've had in 2 years or so and they have made some good improvements since it's inception. I certainly wouldn't have wanted to be in that call centre today, especially if I had got through after listening to that "musak" for 40 minutes.:mad::mad::mad:
