My buddy Trefor and I said we would be very happy with a top ten position ,but when the flag drops .......6th was a really good result and I beat my mate buy 6 seconds over 2 tests that were over 8mins each.nobody cares but him and me lolCongrats on completing the course Hugh. There was a guy from a few miles up the road at Newton-on-Trent called Chippy Moore, he was a very good grasstrack racer back in the 70's he even moved to either Oz or NZ to try his hand at Speedway riding.

Yes, I remember him. His real name was Richard. Top racer in the late 70s early 80s

Its was quite hard in a way but it was really good as we thought about Postie the whole day in a really fun way.i had his picture in my back pack and we had a right laugh all the way around.It was also nice but tough as his wife and two young sons followed us around to meet us at different locations with fuel and snacks and a little bbq after.We woke up with some sore heads this morning which is only right lol.heres a map of the route we took marked in red
