Gave up Riding my bike competivly 10 years ago im doing a competition. Our good friend died earlier in the year who was part of our little group so weve reformed just to remember him.Its only for fun and it brings a load of good memories we'll have a barbie at the local pub which is handly next door. The problem is im still quite competitive and i havent ridden my bike for 5 months and that was only a trail ride. things could get a little messy.somehow were in the over 50 supervets im 58 and my buddy is 62 im a little nervous lol

Tony.

Enjoy & have fun.

Think you’re in the wrong place on the list Hugh. 344 looks a lot safer and easier

Good luck

Great way to remember your pal... Good on you

Someone riding an old Maico, seriously collectable bikes now.

I'm sure you'll have a great time

Go for it Hugh :beer

Good luck it's for a good cause, but remember you don't bounce like you used too

Not ridden competitively in ages, no practice.......what could possibly go wrong? Sounds like fun.

Good luck Hugh. I'm sure it will all come back to you as soon as the flag drops.

Enjoy it Hugh, I'm sure you'll be fine. It'll be like falling off a bike....oops:thumbsup:

Enjoy :p
It's sounds like a great experience again ;)

Be careful :)

If it makes you happy Hugh why not, don’t forget “” it's not the winning that counts, it’s the taking part”.

Well we survived and had a great day out.ì dont know if you know how the competition works but its a ride around the countryside mostly off road around 120 miles with a time limit with "specials" that are individually timed to sort out the winner. Yesterday had 2 specials one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The one in the morning was very slippery with dew the afternoon was dusty ,im afraid my enthusiasm got the better of me in the afternoon and i had a bit of a crash but managed to pick my bike up with no real damage and carry on but it put paid to a better result but with a worn set of tyres and no practice was a little ambitious anyway lol,but once the flag drops im a riding god lol.unfortunately my daughters sidecar outfit blew the engine 5 miles from the finish.
