That lump is a new volcano emerging from the sea, a theory says this was the original site of Atlantis, until the volcano erupted and took out over half of the Island, better seen from the air to get a perspective on the damage caused by the eruption..
Even Indiana Jones is there must be searching for something.
Haha, great mind's & all that, I thought exactly the same when I first saw that photo......
Fabulous place to see, only been there once when on a cruise, the sea is too deep to drop anchor to its a tender boat ride to shore while the liner goes round and round waiting! Must go back there soon.
