I heard last week that VW are no longer able to register new Californias.

No explination as to why.

I reckon a few more scandals are about to emerge.

It certainly lines the governments pockets with the massive fines.
 
I wonder where the money from the fines go ! Can only be to plant more trees so we can all breathe more easy in order to help the environment. They could always spend a bit on pot hole repairs.

The money should go to the people who bought the cars in good faith and found they were miss sold.

That would be a lovely gesture ! Can't see that happening some how though.

Can only say I am not surprised to read this at all, the only surprise is why it's taken so long. Any manufacturer who sells diesel engines cars is doing it. It is a dirty fuel, you cannot take the dirt out of it.

It was always going to happen. Once they've done with BMW they'll move on to the next one, they are all at it.
 
They are Dave. Mercedes have been cheating since they brought out the Vito and how many years is that?

It's to complicated apparently. We've had it on trucks since 2006. Seperate tank, only small 30 litres maybe and I only have to fill it once a week so it doesn't use much.
 
It's big here mate, not sure if it's on the mainland, I would think it probably is as it's part of the build here.
