So after checking the wheels of my car yesterday thoughts went back to the old days. The old grey matter started the cogs turning. And then it started.

Good idea mate. Saw a good idea on FB the other day, a small 12v plug in fan heater that sits on the centre cubby slot lid to warm up your rear window in the winter much quicker.

I used to have a hair drier, when I had some hair to dry, that plugged into the ciggy lighter and I used it to demist my front screen on cold mornings.

Don't know where I had it from and can't remember what happened to it but it sure was useful. I might look for another one to keep in the car

They were selling a similar thing at the Co-op filling station in Lincoln a few weeks back mate.

Tony when you say a lump of wood I could guess and get it wrong, would a piece of two -be -two be big enough.:bag: ...............................=)). I’ll scout my garden and shed see what I’ve got, get back to you.:pompus:

I had a Rover 216 Cabriolet for a while. The rear screen demister was a little fan heater affair sunk into the rear parcel shelf. Appart from the annoying noise it made it was quite effective.
