One of your towers Redline?

Why would you. There's living life to the full but surely that's looking for death
These crazy Russians... They drink far too much Redbull...with vodka sometimes. This kid is on something for sure... I get dizzy putting stuff in the loft.

How about this one?
What a job to have, don't think @Redline does it anymore.....;)

One big climb to change a light bulb. One fit guy. 1,500 feet is huge. But, over in the states they have huge distances to cover. Very low tech antenna up there though.
They normally use a basket rather than climb if they're going some distance up.

They use LEDs now. Up to 50% of the LEDs can be out and they're still good. There's strict rules on how may lights you can have out before you have to inform the CAA etc.
Lots of masts don't need lights as they're not considered in any flightpath. We constantly get calls about those - You're lights aren't on!

What put me off heights was back in 1980.
Was building a hanging scaffold at about 95 Mtrs and out of the corner of my eye I saw something wiz past me.

Turned out to be a German engineer who was working on something above us.
It was only his old fashioned leather overall that kept all the bits together.
