A very old and absolute minter of a 190SL.

Rosberg owns one of those, wonder if he is going to have to sell it now that he has retired?

That's a great car :p

Why can't they make cars like that anymore?

Indeed mate, sadly aerodynamics/coefficient drag got in the way and pedestrians.
Such a shame mate when you look at cars like that. They wouldn't get anywhere near that today.

That is a car that needs polishing underneath too - stunning!

My Grandfather had an XK140 sitting in his garage, I loved that car, used to sit in it and pretend I was driving it.
Sadly, none of the other family members were into cars and it was sold after his death.

That's bad mate. Take it you weren't old enough to do anything about it?

:arghh: people just don't know what they have sometimes mate.

I was about 7 years old and all ready a petrol head......
What a shame mate. I loved cars from about 5 years old. Used to walk down rows of parked cars telling my grandad what each one was before we got to them.

I painted a huge front of an RR on my bedroom wall with black and silver Hammerite paint, my parents could not get rid of it after I left home, they painted over it, you could still see it, they wallpapered over it, you could still see it... Must still be there.
Bit of a Banksy I was mate....
